Nixon's
Custom Cornhole Boards has been building cornhole boards since 2006.
The boards are made to meet the standards of the American
Cornhole
Association, 24"x48".
I use 3/4" Cabinet Grade Birch or Oak for the Deck as my standard. The frame is made out of 1"x4" Select Pine.
The top is
attached
with glue and 2 1/2" finish nails from a gun.
The holes
are then filled with wood filler. They are sanded smooth and
ready for
primer or Stain. Paint used on all boards is Exterior Flat Color.
If the boards are to be stained, then after sanding, the boards
recieve the stain and then cleared. Boards can be done with
both
Stain and Paint.
Each and every board is cleared with at least five coats of
Polycrylic or Polyurethane.
The legs are made to fold in for travel and are attached with
a
3/8" x 3" Bolt.
With some care, these boards will last you for years.
Remember I specialize in Custom work. What You want
is what I build. If you have a certain way you want a set built,
example... 2"x4" frame then
